I’ve always loved and grown up with animals. Before and during college I volunteered at animal shelters, and I adopted my first pet 17 years ago. I can’t imagine life without them. For 5 years I volunteered at the Wild Animal Sanctuary, preparing food and feeding lions, tigers and bears and educating the public on the captive wildlife crisis. These past 8 years I’ve been part of two animal foster programs, Mile High Lab Mission and True Blue Rescue, both located in Colorado. Through these organizations I fostered puppies, seniors, strays, neglected and abused dogs, and everything in between until they were adopted out to loving homes. I recently relocated to North Carolina (July of 2022), and am readily available and excited to walk your dogs, drop in or house sit! I am also a professional artist and have done many commissions of pets (shameless plug), so if you’re interested in a drawing of your furry friends feel free to inquire!
