Farmhouse: perfect for your dog!
Pet care experience
Looking for a place for your dog to spend their day where they can rest, socialize, and get exercise? Just need someone to walk your dog and get some energy out of their system? Or what about somewhere for your dog to stay and relax while you go away for the weekend? If yes—You’ve come to the right place! Who am I? I am someone who loves animals. When I was growing up I would care for our dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I am good at connecting with animals and meeting their needs.
Reviews
Joanne was amazing took care of our two pups for the day. We had constant messages with pictures and reporting on their adventure. They are both anxious dogs and she made them feel right at home. Highly recommend her we will be using her services again.
Joanna was excellent! She kept me informed all throughout the day and sent a lot of pictures of my dog while in her care to keep me updated. Will definitely be booking with her again!
Joanna has had a trusting way with animals since she was a little girl. And got her first pet hamster and fishes. Since then she has cared for dozens of pets with gentle, attentive kindness. She has been watching my Aussie doodle puppy during the day ever since I got her four years ago. I always trust Joanna with my puppy because she takes her on a nice walk and picks the seeds and burrs out of her fur if she gets in the bushes. My puppy likes going to stay with Joanna for the day.
Joanna has taken care of my 2 large dogs on multiple occasions. She is a true dog lover who can make any dog feel at home. Her home is large and spacious and she has a fenced in area of her yard. Your dogs will be in good hands with Jo!

Home
Information Joanna D. would like to know about your pet
What your dogs energy is like, how frequently they need to use the bathroom, what makes them happy, and whether they are ok with other dogs and potentially cats. Note: We tend to use baby gates to separate our dog and cats. It is also helpful if you bring some treats and let me know if your dog has food allergies.
A typical day
Our home has a large fenced yard and plenty of parks destinations nearby. We go on a walk midday and at the end of the day. Dogs can rest where they feel most comfortable—dog bed, couches, etc. I use treats to reinforce positive behavior in the home (e.g sit, stay, lay down) as well as on walks (e.g heeling, limited chasing, and limited barking). Hours & Rates: Doggy Day Care is care that lasts between 1 and 9 hours. Extended care is $3 for each additional hour up to 14 hours. Anything more than 14 hours, the rate goes up to the overnight Boarding rate ($100). Note: We call it a Farmhouse, because it was originally built as a farmhouse in the late 1800s and at times it is host to chickens, goats, and donkeys. Chickens, goats and donkeys have outdoor coops, stables and fencing in separate parts of the yard.
