When it comes to my dogs, I am a bit obsessive (to say the least). There are few people who I feel have the right combination of experience, preventative safety thinking, and the huge heart and nurturing nature to to leave my dogs in their care. That all being said, I trust Joann with my dogs 100%. I have watched her interact and care for my dogs, and watched her incredible love for her own dogs over many years. She is uniquely experienced having literally cared for hundreds of foster dogs in her work in dog care and dog rescue. Her experience in dog rescue also gives her extensive veterinary knowledge and dog behavior experience. Joann knows training, she knows how to respond and what to look for in routine and emergency health situations with dogs. And, having worked with all kinds of dogs from many different breeds and backgrounds, she is able to navigate care for even dogs that may be shy, dealing with medical conditions, or dogs that are dog selective or dog reactive. Many dog care providers that I have interviewed take dog care casually, and that simply doesn't work for me.... my dogs are my babies and Joann gets the seriousness of caring for other people's fur-babies.

Her many years of experience with dogs means there is hardly a behavior or personality she has not encountered nor not know how to handle. She has a commanding, yet gentle and patient and loving touch with all dogs, and their humans too, as long as they pass her sniff test!
