I'm a former volunteer with the humane societies and animal rescues (dog and also guinea pig) in the '90's fostering puppies that would come in or be born there that were too young to be adopted. Once they were of age, I would return them for care and adoption. I also volunteered with a boxer rescue as a driver - picking up Boxers from vets or other locations that needed to be transported to foster care. In the early '90's I was also an employee of a huge, corporate dog sitting service providing care for many families over the years. So, with that being said, I love all types of animals which is why I got into this business. I'm available for drop in visits or overnight care - whatever is best for your pet. I can also walk your dog, if you give me that permission during the initial interview or just play with toys while I'm there. I'll find out all the specifics that are important to you on how I care for your animal while you're on vacation or away. If you prefer that I board your dog in my home, I am a stay at home mom, although my son is leaving for the Navy this year, so I'm available to be with your pet at all times. I do not work outside the home.
