Pet care experience
I have had a poodle for 10 years now and I can't imagine my life without her. She is what makes me excited to come home after long days of work. So I value the importance of making sure your furry friend gets the love and attention it needs and deserves. I will always make sure your dog is happy and gets the necessary playing time, walking time, and caring time. I accept all kinds of dogs, whether they are hairless or furry, tiny or gigantic. All dogs are welcome :) In addition, there are many places I know that I can take your dog on walks or even runs around the neighborhood or local park or beach. I absolutely love hiking so your dog will benefit from that as well.

Joanmarie is an incredible pet caretaker! She’s got all the qualities someone needs in trusting their pet in someone else’s care: honest, reliable, communicative, prompt and loving. She is very good about asking questions and making sure she understands how she can best take care of your fur baby. That is the type of person she is. She even gave my kitty medication and of course lots of love. I didn’t have to worry about my cat’s care while I was gone which was such a big mental relief. I came home to a very happy boy who had been well taken care of.
Joanmarie has looked after/walked my family pets (3 cats and 1 dog) on multiple occasions. They each have their own needs and preferences and she is attentive to each of them. She is such a friendly, down-to-earth gal and it makes me feel at ease knowing my children are in good hands. Definitely recommend!
Joanmarie has always been a patient and loving caregiver for our dog Belle. As Belle got older and had health issues, Joanmarie made sure Belle got her daily walk and encouraged her to eat and drink lots of water. I would recommend Joanmarie to anyone who wants a thoughtful, fun-loving companion for their pet.
Joanmarie has not only shown that she can take care of her own dog by caring for her when it was sick and teaching her tricks, she has only shown that she can care for other people's pets as well. She has taught tricks to my two cats even though they've never learned tricks before, but has also soothed my dog when she was brought to an apartment she had never been to before and calmed her down to the point of being able to nap in a strange environment. She is also a nurse so she knows not only how to care for dogs but for people as well, showing her truly caring nature.

A typical day
I live 5 minutes from the strand on Redondo beach so I’d love for them to experience the ocean breeze and sniff all the scents. I also love going out to nature or parks for them run play fetch and get all the zoomies out of their system!

I am currently a nursing student but have time on the side when I’m not in class most days of the week. I try to exercise (by walking) once a day so this fits perfectly.
