Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Jo and my dream is to own an animal shelter. I've had dogs and cats since I was a kid and have become a better person for it. I have also volunteered at a dog shelter (where I got my dog) and I'm better at administering meds for it!

Joana is more than pet sitter, she is an animal lover and you can feel it when you speak to her about animals. She has tremendous respect for every animal and she will take care of every pet like it is hers. If you are looking for someone responsible and polite, look no further, she is the one.
Joana is perfect with my dog. Maika loves to be around her, and I'm happy to leave her with Joana. She was recommended to me by a friend and at first I was reticent to leave my dog with a complete stranger, but I'm completely at ease leaving her with Joana.
Joana is a wonderful pet-sitter! My cats don’t get well with strangers most of the time, especially Chico, who is extremely skittish and shy around new people, but Joana’s calm and warm demeanor soon got them to cuddle up to her ! She took excellent care of Chico and Bianca for the week we were out and regularly updated us on how they were doing. We came home to two very happy and healthy cats, honestly couldn’t have left our kitties in better hands!
Joana is an incredibly kind and hardworking person who always goes the extra mile for me and my pets. She has a decades of experience working with dogs and I trust her completely to look after my precious babies while I'm away. I couldn't reccomend her more to anyone in need of a sitter xxx

My cat is indoors only, she can roam around the flat all she wants (she's allowed on the furniture and on the bed). We have 3 scratching posts for her and 2 litter trays. We feed her both wet and dry food (4 feeds per day). We also try to play with her every evening and cuddle during the day. When I had a dog we used to take him out for a walk 3 times a day (more often in summer if needed) and feed him twice a day. Giving him meds was tricky so we rolled the pill in ham or cheese to make it easier.

Let me know how your dog reacts with new people and new dogs on the street? If they pull on the lead do you correct them, if so would you like me to do the same?
A typical day
I'd love to take your dog to Finsbury Park or Crissold Park and run with them (on a leash always). I'll try my best to teach them tricks or practice the ones they already know. Lots of butt scratches and belly rubs are a must and soft cuddles on the sofa to calm down from a hard day of running around.

Availability
I work as a Supervisor at Lush and have decided to slowly transition by knowledge and skills to a more animal dominant workplace. I'm working towards becoming a veterinary's assistant and developing my animal caretaker skills. Until then I'll happily take care of your pet when you're not around.
