Join us on our 6 acre horse farm in the country in Ravenel, South Carolina. With 40 years of experience we will care for your dog providing play (chasing balls, Frisbees and a good ole stick), long walks and quality pet care. Here at Charleston Bark & Bone your dog will have plenty of room to run, fetch and relax in a fully fenced environment. Senior dogs are welcome, too and can have a more leisurely stay. I am home all day except for occasional errands, etc. All dog guests must be spayed/neutered and house trained. Your dog deserves a vacay, too. We look forward to meeting you and your dog(s), see you soon. Come and stay awhile. At Charleston Bark & Bone "NOTE: Messages sent to me after 8:00 PM are held by Rover and are delivered to me at 8:00AM. I will then respond promptly. (While your dog is staying with me, you'll have my personal contact info for 24/7 access.)"

Joan gave our dogs a much needed vacation in a wonderful country surrounding. Max loved playing fetch the stick and Macy well she just loves sleeping. Joan kept us updated with pictures and status reports while we were away. Highly recommended.
My standard caretaker for my pup was unavailable and I was so concerned about leaving him with a stranger. I never have to but I needed someone soon and for 5 days. Joan welcomed him in to her home and land. She has sprawling acres and fenced in areas where he could play. I believe that he enjoyed himself and liked playing with the other few dogs she was hosting at the time. From the meet / greet to the drop-off to the daily texts, pictures, and videos, to my pick up...everything went smooth and he acclimated back to my home quickly. I think he misses his friends and all the play time he had with Joan:) Overall it was a great experience and I would feel comfortable leaving him with Joan again if needed!! She is very attentive and ensures comfort of both the pups and the owners.
Delighted that I found Joan. No more lonesome kennel stays for my two! This is the place for doggy vacays...great care, beautiful surroundings.
Samson is so loved and cared for with Joan and her family! He comes home happy and tired from all of the play and exercise. I highly recommend Joan!
