I love dogs! I adopted my 12-year-old (Soft-coated Wheaten) two years ago after he was deemed "useless" on the dog show circuit. He, Woodson, is a mild guy. He was a show dog and is used to interacting with other dogs. He is my family now that my kids are grown and gone. UPDATE: I sadly had to have Woodson put down in late January of 2019. I'm not yet ready for another dog. Woodson left a big hole in my heart and those of my family/grandkids. For now, my dog-boarding business has greatly helped me deal with Woodsy's loss. I also raised four puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind, and three went on to serve their blind owners. This was a very rewarding experience. I am retired and home full time. My yard is fenced and your dog will be safe and able to run free. For the past two years, I have been sitting for a senior Yorkie and a senior Lab so I have experience with dogs other than my own.
