Dogs and all animals have always been my passion. I have been rescuing and bringing home strays since I was 13 years old. There is anything I would not do to protect an animal. I currently have two rescues at home. I so love dogs that we laugh about my keeping their company over humans. My skill set is not special outside of extreme care and understanding of a dogs need for compassion and companionship. There has never been a time in my life that I did not have animals at home or for that matter volunteering at a shelter. Since I have retired, I am looking for something meaningful to do outside of going back to corporate. I understand how pet owners feel when having to leave their dogs all day while they are in an office. I would like to be able to give back and be there for these people.
