A warm cozy place for your friends

Pet care experience

We are dog lovers. We have one of our own. It would be great that your furry friends could join us when you are busy or out of town. We only take up to two pooches from one client at a time. The pooches will stay indoor with us most of time. Every couple hours or so if the weather permitted, they can stretch and play in our fenced-in area. Since I work from home, I will be around mostly. We would prefer mature and well behaved dogs. Our daily routine is a variation of: Morning break after waking up. Breakfast (if needed). A 20-60 minutes walk depending on weather. Grooming if needed. Lunch snacks (if needed). Afternoon break/play. Dinner (if needed). Evening walk (15-30 minutes). Bathroom break before bedtime. Prior to your stay, an introduction of your doggy friend(s) to ours will take place to ensure a happy vacation for your friends. Why I love dog sitting We have had dogs for more than 25 years. Our 1st dog, who was a oversized Beagle Border Collie mixed, passed away in 2007. Our second dog just passed away last year at the age of 15. Now we have our little dog. They were all adopted from shelters. Our little one is Ella (small, cairn and dachshund mixed). She lived on the streets of LA for first 2-3 years of her life, and is a little protective. She usually requires a little more time to get to know strangers and dogs. About my yard We have fenced in yard and patio around 110'X50' (some area may be narrower). This yard is flat and landscaped.

Joan was great! She sent lots of pictures each day! They went for walks and to the beach and the park. She took very good, loving, care of our dog and I would definitely use her again! She even taught our dog how to sit and lay down! Great experience!

I got many pictures from Joan during my trip. When I picked them up, Paddy and Lucy looked very happy and clean, I can tell they have a wonderful stayed. I am so glad I found a responsible person, Joan even gave Lucy a bath, I really appreciate her effort. Thanks so much for giving such a good care for my dogs!!

Joan and her husband are fabulous petsitters! I don't think our lab Chloe wanted to leave. We got great photo updates of Chloe exercising and playing with the other dogs. I couldn't have been more satisfied with Joan's services.

We would like to know about the health of the dogs, and information of their veterinarian. Since our dogs were all traumatized when they were young, we would prefer non-aggressive, easy going dogs.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Weekdays, we walk the dogs in the neighborhood for around 40 minutes after food in the morning. In the evening, we walk the dogs for 30 minutes in our neighborhood after they eat. Weekends, we walk the dogs on trails at Hemlin Park or our neighborhood park for about 1 hour after food in the morning. In the evening, we will take another walk after they have dinner for 30 minutes. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Our dogs sleep in their beds in bedroom or living room (wherever they want).
