Must Love Pets? Check! 😺❤️🐶
Pet care experience
Hey there! I'm a 30-something remote worker with a love for pets. I'm available for long-term and short-term stays and sits! I'm new to this platform, but not new to the job; I've been caring for homes and pets for over 15 years. I'm happy to share reviews from families that have booked me elsewhere before I joined this site! A few of them have been kind enough to write testimonials here, too. I love visiting new places and it's a dream to be able to put together petsitting and travel or petsitting and staycations, when possible. If you're looking for common sense, patience, responsibility, attention to detail, a sense of humor, respect for your home, and good company for your pet family: I'm the person you're looking for.
Reviews
Jo is amazing! On our recent trip we had a moment of panic when we didn’t have all the documents we needed to enter the country we were going to and Jo save the day by getting the required document and sending it to me by screenshot. We came home and the house was clean and our pup was happy. We can’t ask for anything more!
I’ve never had a dog sitter in my home before. She was responsible, carried through on all of my dog’s needs. She communicated well, with photos and comments. I plan to use her again! Thank you again Jo!
Jo took great care of our Stella and we came back to a tidy home and happy pup. Couldn’t ask for more!
Jo was fantastic! She gave lots of cuddles, pets, and walks to our pupper, and left our house in great shape afterwards. I look forward to having her stay at our house again!

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I'm comfortable with all pets (those with fur, feathers, and quills, so far!) and know that each has their own personality and care needs. If it was clean when you left, it'll be clean when you return! I won't break anything you don't want broken and I won't meddle to fix anything you didn't ask to be fixed.
Information Jo Q. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet have any quirks? triggers? What are their favorite things to do? and their LEAST favorite? What's their temperament? around other pets? on walks? Is there anything I can do to make the transition of not having their loved one around easier? Teach me the commands (words and/or visual queues) you use so I'm speaking a language they understand! What rules do you have in place for them? Are they allowed on furniture? Any allergies or medication needs? How much exercise do you want them to have? Do they have any limitations? The more information I have about how to keep your animal(s) happy and healthy, the better they'll feel when you're home with them again! I'm a fan of details and want to ensure that the experience is as lovely as possible.
A typical day
For walks and playtime, I usually let the dog lead (unless there are instructions from the parent). I've found that helps build a bit of trust and familiarity between us so I'm not completely changing everything about the routines!

Availability
I'm not location-dependent and can work anywhere I have high-speed internet and a plug to charge my laptop. I usually work from home 815am MT to 445pm MT and I enjoy playing in a couple adult sports leagues during the summer months; I have games a couple nights a week, but I'm never away for too long!
