Pet care experience
I have been caring for my own pets and for friends and co-workers for over 25 years. I love all animals: cats, dogs, reptiles, birds and insects. At home we have two cats, two elderly guinea pigs, and some composting worm farms. It is my hobby to create clean and stimulating environments for them and activities for them to do. I love to redesign our pig's giant C&C cage and build box houses for the cats and I grow catnip for them, which I can bring to visits for any kitties who enjoy it. I enjoy keeping pet environments scrupulously clean and am especially fond of elderly animals. I send photo and activity updates with each visit.

Jo was very sweet and loving with our three little girls for her house sitting. They absolutely loved all the attention, exercise and fun Jo gave them in their own house! We appreciate all her updates she provided with pictures and texts of how the girls were doing. Highly recommend Jo if you want your dogs to have a loving and fun time while you are away!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jo. She came over beforehand so that we could meet her, and we were instantly comfortable with her. We so appreciated the generosity of her time. She was so interested in all the things we felt would make the transition for our Lulu easier, and she put every one of those things into action while she was here. The communication during her stay in our home (and overnight) was phenomenal…. Including pictures. Jo is a wonderfully trustworthy and caring caretake and we felt lucky to have her.

A typical day
With all animals I am interested in keeping up with the best part of their daily routines, including play and exercise time, and time spent giving affection, with brushing, talking, petting, etc. This would vary from animal to animal. For example vigorous exercise like playing fetch with a young energetic dog, or couch cuddle time for an elderly cat.

I am a self employed artist who works from home (I do have two feline supervisors!) so I am very flexible and can be available at a moments notice.
