Pet care experience
As an Oakland-native raised by animal-caregivers and ethical breeders, animal care is second nature to me. I’ve had and rescued 15 dogs, 4 cats, multiple ferrets, guinea pigs and rabbits myself. Regarding puppies and kittens, I’ve nursed 2 litters of pups and 3 newborn kittens to adoption age (was actually awarded “Master Cat Herder” as a gag award at work haha). Respect, empathy and patience are my go-to whether someone has 2 legs.. or four! Hablo español

J'Lynn took care of our senior cat twice, while we were away for two different vacations. J'Lynn was super reliable, thorough, and sent the cutest pictures of our kitty. She even offered to do extra to help out the cat when it had vomited to ensure the cat was feeling better. We felt confident knowing our cat was in good hands the whole time. Thanks so much J'Lynn!

For drop-ins, this will including feeding, play/cuddle time, wellbeing update (for you), litter changing, medication administering plus any plant care you request (no charge). For dog-walking, this includes only a 30 minute service. If you'd like the drop-in services with the walk, please note that the walk will be shorter! Feel free to add the extended time option if you would prefer. For house-sitting, this service includes all of the above over 3 to 4 hours daily. Please note that this will *not be an overnight stay* as I care for my own pup at home <3, however I am "on-call" so to speak should anything urgent be needed.

Please let me know if your pet has any dietary restrictions, allergies, medication and/or special behavioral support needs at the time of booking. I also request vaccination records and vet information for all extended house sitting and boarding bookings (when offered).
A typical day
While most dogs love a good game of tug-of-war, some simply prefer cuddles! Having grown up with so many animals, I’m fortunate to have the gift of adapting to different pet personalities. Overall, mental stimulation, positive attention and building familiarity for the pet(a) are what I prioritize.

Availability
I work out of home Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM. My Rover time is typically before work, after work and busier into the weekends/holidays.
