I have worked at doggy daycares for two years, working with both Tailwaggers and Wags and Whiskers. This has given me plenty of experience with all types of dogs and taught me to handle stressful situations and problem solve. I unfortunately had to quit both jobs due to circumstances out of my control. I love animals and have always been an avid dog lover. I volunteer frequently at the Fox Valley Humane Association walking the dogs and have been doing so for over two years. Due to Covid, I have not been able to walk the dogs and I miss being around dogs. My family recently adopted a toy poodle who we love and care for named Max, and before him we had a Finnish spitz/chow chow mix named Nettie. She lived 13 years and was my best friend. I learned a lot about dog behavior by growing up with her, but also have researched dog training and believe in positive reinforcement.
