JJ and his wife are extremely kind people whose love for animals and extensive knowledge about caring for dogs is apparent within minutes of meeting them. Our 15-month-old puppy had never been boarded before and he ended up having terrible separation anxiety. Unfortunately, we were on a backpacking trip and didn't have cell reception for several days (otherwise we would have picked Ollie up immediately after reading JJ's messages on the first night of Ollie’s stay). From JJ’s messages and from speaking to him in person when we collected Ollie, it was clear that he had gone above and beyond to try to comfort Ollie. Ollie was extremely scared and agitated on his first night away from us and JJ stayed up with him all night trying to calm him down. He took care of Ollie as though he was his own dog. We will not board Ollie again until we make some major progress on his separation anxiety, but if I had another, more well-adjusted dog, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them with JJ and his family. We’re very grateful that they were there for Ollie when he was having such a tough time.

Bandit had a wonderful time with JJ's family and their dogs. Their fenced back yard is perfect for off-leash play time and Bandit loved the kiddie pool just for the pups. JJ and his wife are excellent communicators which made booking easy, and we really appreciated the pictures and updates during his stay with them. We will use them again in the future and happily recommend them to others!
