Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around animals, and I love meeting new fur friends! I have experience walking dogs with a variety of temperaments, and I make a point to learn the body language of the pups I walk so that I can ensure their comfort and safety. I am experienced with positive reinforcement training, and I use treats as rewards and/or redirection as needed. I'm also happy to use whatever commands you are working on with your dog to help with the consistency of training. I am calm in emergencies, and I have a knack for connecting with shy dogs. I'm also available for cat visits! I have many years of experience cat sitting, and I have been a cat parent for over 2 decades. I am available to clean litter boxes, give lots of play-time and attention/cuddles to the kitties who want it or be a quiet presence to the kitties who are on the shy side.

Jj was amazing! This was our first time using Rover or any service pet care service. Jj was easy to communicate with, and did a meet and greet with us which made the transition easy. They took great care of our shy kitties and was aware of their need for space and slowly gained Jj’s trust and came out to say hi on the last day with Jj! They were professional from start to finish and can’t say enough great things! The updates and photos Jj provided eased our mind and allowed us to enjoy our trip away from the kitties.
Jj has been watching our cats when we’re away for the past 6 months or so and we couldn’t be happier! Jj is always flexible about booking and the cats have definitely warmed up to them, so we know they are in good hands! Thanks as always, Jj!

Please include ALL pets that you need me to care for on your profile, and in the booking request. This allows me to fully understand and properly plan for your needs, and it ensures that your pets are covered under the Rover guarantee.

A typical day
I will be sure to give your dog(s) ample sniffspection time on our walks, opportunities for face licks, and as much exercise and silliness as they seem to want in our time together.

I'm currently working from home as a writer, so my schedule is pretty flexible, though evenings after 6pm are more challenging. I'm also available for weekend visits.
