Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around animals, and I love meeting new fur friends! I have experience walking dogs with a variety of temperaments, and I make a point to learn the body language of the pups I walk so that I can ensure their comfort and safety. I am experienced with positive reinforcement training, and I use treats as rewards and/or redirection as needed. I'm also happy to use whatever commands you are working on with your dog to help with the consistency of training. I am calm in emergencies, and I have a knack for connecting with shy dogs. I'm also available for cat visits! I have many years of experience cat sitting, and I have been a cat parent for over 2 decades. I am available to clean litter boxes, give lots of play-time and attention/cuddles to the kitties who want it or be a quiet presence to the kitties who are on the shy side.

Jj did a WONDERFUL job taking care of our sweet Bean, they posted regular photos and summaries of the day that my husband and I were excited to receive each night while we were out of town! It’s clear that our cat was well loved on and taken care of, we will definitely book them again to look after our cat!
A huge thanks to JJ for looking in on my thick boi while I've been traveling this year, I've so appreciated knowing that he is safe and getting loved on while I've been out of town. JJ sends the best pics and very cute and thorough write ups of visits. Totally worth every penny for the peace of mind!!

Please schedule a meet and greet if you haven’t booked with me before. This allows everyone to feel safe and happy about the arrangements, and it gives me a chance to ask questions, so that I know how to best care for your pet(s). Please include ALL pets that you need me to care for on your profile, and in the booking request. This allows me to fully understand and properly plan for your needs, and it ensures that your pets are covered under the Rover guarantee.

For cat humans: please have written instructions on Rover or printed for me when I arrive so I can be sure to take care of your cat overlords properly. For dog humans: please let me know about any reactivity or fear-based behaviors that your dog has on walks (e.g. loud sounds, outdoor cats, people, other dogs, etc.). Thank you!
A typical day
I will be sure to give your dog(s) ample sniffspection time on our walks, opportunities for face licks, and as much exercise and silliness as they seem to want in our time together.

I'm currently working from home as a writer, so my schedule is pretty flexible, though evenings after 6pm are more challenging. I'm also available for weekend visits.
