Pet care experience
I’ve had my dog at home for 13 years and ever since I moved to Des Moines I’ve missed him. I’d love to help out dog owners in the area with anything they need. I’ve dog sat for family and friends many times over the years and it’s been wonderful.

Jimmy did so good with Eddie! He followed all of our care instructions, and sent us updates daily. When Eddie was having trouble settling down for the evening, Jimmy reached out to us for advice. He kept him very active as well. We will definitely be coming back to Jimmy for our pet care needs!

Jimmy comes from a dog filled upbringing and has a variety of experiences in dogsitting, particularly my fur baby Yuki the Samoyed. She can be a handful, but always seems content when I pick her up from Jimmy!

I have a somewhat spacious one bedroom apartment, but my building has a nice fenced-in yard. There are a few parks only a block or two away so plenty of outdoor space.

Any special bathroom habits or food habits that they dog might need to be followed. I know how tumultuous the wrong kind of snack can be for a dog. Or any recent injuries too. My dog tore a his Achilles and we had to be very careful with him for a while.
A typical day
Any type of playing inside that they enjoy. I love playing with my dog at home. There’s nearby parks for good outdoor time and walks are always a fun thing to burn some energy.

I always work from home on Fridays and my weekends are usually pretty free. I’ll work from home some days during the week but it’s pretty sporadic.
