Pet care experience
Besides having dogs our whole lives, we've taken care of neighbor's pets for years. My wife walks neighbor dogs whenever they are gone for a day or longer. I'm retired and my my wife works from home so your dog will get plenty of attention. We spend lots of time outdoors so the dogs won't be alone inside or out. We have a large fenced yard, and a cool patio for hot days. The doggy door lets the dogs in and out of the house as they like. Inside, the dogs have the kitchen and den.

Popcorn had a blast while staying with Jim, Susan and little Charlie! I got fun pictures updates and appreciated that Pop was allowed to make himself at home there. (he’s definitely a couch dog) Definitely recommend!
Riley had a blast with Charlie! Jim and Susan have the perfect set-up…doggie door and fenced yard. Jim and Susan were very accommodating with our quirky, aging dog. He was very well-cared for during his first stay. We will definitely re-book!
Popcorn had a blast spending the day with Jim, Susan, and Charlie! They are lovely, easy going, and they have an excellent big yard for playing! Jim sent cute pictures throughout the day and it was clear that Popcorn was having a great time with them. Definitely recommend - I will be hoping to book again with them in the future. ?

We had a fence installed when we got Charlie as a pup. He was small so we also put smaller gauge fence along the bottom so he couldn't squeeze out. We don't fertilize the yard where the dogs are so there is no chemical use. Plus the clover looks nice!

A typical day
Morning - outside to do their business. Then eat. Afternoon - playtime in the yard or perhaps a walk. Evening - dinner then playtime to get them tired. Lay around until bedtime. Out one last time before bed.

Pet care is part of our daily routine. Charlie like to play ball in the morning, frisbee in the afternoon and goes for a walk after dinner.
