I am retired with a flexible schedule and availability. I have had dogs as family members all my life until my move to an apartment that restricts pet residency. My latest brother was a 170lb. Bernese Mountain Dog and my first family dog, when I was 6, was a black Cocker Spaniel named Toro. As young Army brats Toro was our dog in Spain and briefly in the US when we returned. A golden retriever, several mixed breeds and "rescued" dogs have also been loved. One interesting one was a Clumber Spaniel, somewhat rare, but another wonderful animal. Loving, caring and some sadness has come along with pet companions, but worth every minute. I enjoy being around a wide variety of animals, but dogs are special.
