PLEASE NOTE: We are back from Florida, but only taking reservations from clients we have worked with previously. Disclaimer: Your furbaby will probably get away with at least one thing at our house that he/she isn't allowed to do at home. But hey, it should be vacation for them, too, shouldn't it? Face it, the first time you leave your best friend, they have no idea whether you're coming back. We go the extra mile to help them still feel loved and wanted, and if that means they get to sneak into bed with us... well, so be it. Grandma used to let you eat chocolate pudding for breakfast and you turned out OK, didn't you? Our home on 9.5 acres (with 4 acres fenced) was originally designed with our dogs in mind. (The windows in the main bedroom had to be lowered so the little ones could easily see out.) We're not sticklers for a spot-free house and we have several steam cleaners to deal with carpeting issues! We currently have 6 dogs, all strays or rescues. They are our BABIES. I (Beth) work from home the majority of the time and my husband (Jim) is retired. Since we've lived with so many dogs over the years, we're comfortable with all the things that can go wrong (we've dealt with dry eye, insulin shots, removing sutures, upset tummies - we have a good supply of Cimetidine) and our vet is just 6 minutes away. We have a bedroom downstairs leading straight out to the yard and my husband will stay there with senior dogs who don't want to navigate steps. As you can see from the pictures, our back is completely fenced in and has divided areas, just in case. We do request that your dogs have all up-to-date shots (our dogs are always current, including Bordetella) and are spayed or neutered. Also, please bring the food they are used to and any crates or beds you think they will want. (They will be given the choice of sleeping in our bed, though.) We have toys and antlers, but if there is a toy your dog can't live without, feel free to bring that, too. We now require that all dogs experience a Meet-n-Greet at least once before boarding. We truly love all dogs and care about the happiness of each and every one!
Reviews
I feel so comfortable with Jim and Beth. It's a huge relief to feel my "kids" are in good hands.
Jim and Beth are wonderful and dedicated dog sitters whom I highly recommend. They made our shy boy feel at home and took very good care of him during his three week stay. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos! They stayed up late to allow us to get Finn the night we returned to town. Thanks again!
I know my dogs were well taken care of and loved while we were gone. :) The pictures and updates were very much appreciated.
Jim and Beth are wonderful, big-hearted people, and they did a stellar job caring for my neurotic (but sweet) little pup, Archie. It was a week-long stay, and Archie didn't make it easy at first. But under Jim and Beth's attentive care, which included lots of snuggling and hand-feeding, Archie warmed up to his new environment and ended up having a ton of fun. There's simply no better dog-sitters out there.

Any guests must be spayed or neutered. We prefer less than 60 lbs, but will make exceptions. (I especially love the little guys, 15 and under.)
A typical day
We have a dog door so our guests can access almost 1.5 acres fenced in for running, snooping, bird-watching, etc at any time. And of course there's always the fun game of watching for deliveries...

I work from home and my husband is retired. We have 6 dogs and basically our lives revolve around furbabies. So if the babies need something, we're on it.
