I learned to take care of a dog when my family got our 85 pound golden retriever. He came into the family as a puppy and requires a lot of attention and frequent potty breaks. We live near the woods so I would always going outside with him since we have an electronic fence and I wanted to keep him safe. I started to learn how to take care of other dogs when I moved in with my roommate. When she is on vacation or running late coming home from work she relies on me to take care of her two small dogs. They need to be taken care of three times per day at least. I gave both my dog and her dogs their medicine, their food and water, gave them walks cuddles and played with them.
