Pet care experience
I am a huge animal lover! I grew up with cats, dogs and other small animals such as guinea pigs and fish in my home. Many neighbors and family friends have relied on me to watch their pets while they were away from home over the years, which has given me lots of experience with taking care of animals that aren’t my own. I also have experience fostering cats through my local animal shelter.

We love Jillian! Our big girl runs right into her house every time and forgets all about us! Her dogs have the same energy levels as our girl, and never comes home with deep scratches like she has in the past from other Rover sitters. She is a great communicator and trustworthy. Jillian is our go-to pupsitter :)

Your pet’s comfort is my number one priority! I understand that each pet’s lifestyle is different, so I am more than willing to maintain their normal routine while caring for them. I always make sure to allow frequent bathroom breaks, as well as lots of playtime and affection! As someone who up until recently had a senior dog, I know that older pets tend to require more attention than usual. I can assure you that your senior dog/cat will receive all of the attention and love they need while in my care.

Information Jillian W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about your pet’s temperament as well as any “off limits” areas (ex: no touching their belly, ears, etc.) prior to visits. It’s good to know these things to avoid any mishaps and to make sure they feel comfortable with me. Also, please be honest regarding your pet’s behavior. I understand each animal is unique and doesn’t act the same, but I would like to know how they do with listening/commands/play behaviors before sitting them for the safety of your pets, my pets, and myself. I would also like to know if your dog has issues with accidents in the house. I understand that accidents happen with every pet from time to time, however I am currently unable to care for dogs with a history of accidents due to my schedule and not being home full time.
A typical day
I am familiar with many dog-friendly outdoor activities in town! I know that not all dogs want to do the same things on walks, so I am open to making a more enjoyable plan (such as bringing lots of toys) for walks with the input of the dog’s owner. As for boarding, I’m open to any activities your dog enjoys, whether that be taking a quick walk, heading outside to play, or staying in. I also have a dog, Maggie, who loves to play and is always open to making friends with her four-legged visitors (yes, including cats!)

I am currently in college and I have classes on most weekdays. On those days, I am available in the afternoon. The rest of my week is usually pretty open!
