Pet care experience
Fully vaccinated! I have experience with long-stay boarding, caring for elderly dogs and nervous dogs, and I'm always happy to work on training reinforcement with pups learning their basic manners. I've got plenty of healthy treats and toys on hand to keep your dog stimulated and happy. I'm a graduate student on summer break, and my partner works primarily from home, so we've got two humans (and our pup, Arlo) on hand to give your dog lots of care and attention. Our schedule is generally pretty flexible, so don't hesitate to ask for a last-minute booking. I have a fenced-in backyard and a very friendly mini schnauzer mix, Arlo, to keep your dog company. I'm a block away from Wooster Square and only a short walk from the Union Street dog park. If you've got a dog who loves to hike, Arlo and I love to hit the trails at Supply Pond. My partner and I keep a very dog-friendly home: your dog will be welcome to get cozy on the couch, snuggle in a lap, or sunbathe in the backyard.

Jillian and Samuel were wonderful! They watched Humphrey for a night - he had a great time playing with Arlo. Humphrey slept for a full day when he got home, and he can't wait to stay with them again.

Jillian has always done a wonderful job caring for my dog, Lola. Lola has some separation anxiety and can be nervous around new people, but she adores Jillian and is the best of friends with Jillian's dog Arlo. Lola stayed with Jillian for two weeks while my husband and I were away on vacation, and we received frequent updates and photos of our Lola looking like she was having the time of her life. Jillian is always our first call when Lola needs a sitter.

A typical day
We've got lots of fun toys (puzzle toys, snuffle mats, lick pads, stuffies, balls, tug toys) and treats (e.g. training treats, dried sweet potato, peanut butter) and our own little dog, so your pup will get plenty of play time in our house. We love to take walks around the Wooster Square neighborhood or hikes at Supply Pond if that's more your dog's speed--either way, they'll have lots of time to sniff and explore. If your dog is a little nervous or just more of a homebody, we're happy to hang with them in the backyard.
