Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner for over 20 years and been around dogs my whole life. I love dogs, especially large breed dogs, and cats. I am a work from home professional Mon-Fri. I am responsible and professional. I have several years of experience with large breed dogs as we have an Italian Mastiff and a Rottweiler of our own. I love hiking and exploring new areas and I have a vehicle that is great for dogs. I also have lots of experience with cats as I have been a cat owner for 25 years. My current cat is 19 and still living his best life! I understand the need to have someone who is able to come to your home to look after your pets when you are away, and I want to be able to provide that service for others. Dogs and cats are much happier and less stressed when they are able to stay in the comfort of their own home. I am conscientious and will always follow the owners' rules and boundaries they have in place with their pets as consistency is key. I am capable of administering medication of any kind. I am happy to work with the owner to find solutions that work for everyone.

A typical day
I think mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so I like to play games with the dogs to get them using their nose. Exploring areas with new scents as well as lick mats and treat searches are great for the dogs. I also think that down time after a high such as play and outdoor time is important to help balance the dog.
