Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs for my entire life. I had a dog growing up that was truly a part of our family. I helped do everything that is needed when owning a pet - train, feed, walk, play, and bathe. I was also the go-to person when my friends or their families needed someone to check in, walk, and play with their dogs when they were out of town. My sister currently has a dog and has asked me to watch her repeatedly for weeks at a time.

I have called on Jillian to watch/care for my dog on a number of occasions, often for weeks at a time. I have a husky mix who is very high energy and can be a bit high maintenance so I get a little nervous when I have to travel and leave her behind. Every time Jillian has watched my dog, I have been put at ease and able to enjoy my travels away from home. My dog loves Jillian and gets excited as soon as she hears her voice and sees her arriving. Jillian loves, pets and cares for my dog as if she was her own. She keeps up with the routine and everyday way of life that my dog is comfortable with and confident in and she loves on her, giving her all the exercise, pets, snacks and attention that she needs, deserves and has come so accustomed to. Jillian is reliable, puts pet parents at ease and most importantly is loved by all animals she crosses paths with.
Jill is an incredible, trustworthy, responsible & reliable pet caregiver! Jill has watched my dog many times, and my dog loves her & gets so excited to see her. Jill is detail-oriented and follows the instructions given for my dog’s needs and routines. Jill is the ideal pet-caregiver!

I’m comfortable following any rules that are established for the dog in the client’s home. I’m very responsible and can easily follow a routine in regards to the dog’s eating and exercise habits and will help make the dog feel comfortable wherever the expected sleep arrangement is (i.e. crate, pet bed, etc.).

Please let me know your dog’s likes and dislikes so that I can make them feel comfortable. If they don’t get along with other dogs, then I’ll make sure to avoid any situations that involve other dogs.
A typical day
I’m always willing to play fetch, tug-of-war, and utilize many different types of toys. I think walking with a dog is more fun and I love allowing them to explore new areas. I usually like to take dogs on walks to the park so they can be around grass.

Availability
I currently have a 9-5 job but work from home for most of the days of the week. Before or after work is preferable, but I can be flexible with the timing if it is scheduled beforehand. I’m completely free on the weekends!
