A safe and comfortable, climate controlled place for your dog to get one on one pampered care while you are away or at work. I will only care for one dog at a time in my home and have a secured back yard for sniffing, bird watching, squirrel watching and lounging. There is central AC so it's very quiet and comfortable inside. Great for dogs with anxiety and breeds that have flat noses. About my home: There are only two steps going into my house in front so easy for most dogs to go in and out for walks! I do have some stairs going up to the sleeping area and also graduated steps into the backyard so this would be something to consider with a senior dog for overnight stays-- the steps do have carpet which helps. I know this from experience, having owned a dog myself in the past. (See photos of my sweet GSP Anna in the orange fleece.) Both my front and back door have locking storm doors with floor level views. The dogs love it! About my current photos, these are all dogs I have cared for or who have stayed here: My niece's dog George stays here many times a year (He's the white Shih-poo pictured) and enjoys being able to run around in my yard. Also pictured are other past guests Luna (pit/staff terrier) and Lucy (Border collie shepherd mix pictured below both as a puppy and almost full grown) and some family member's and friends pets I have also cared for the last few years. I am newly back online for Fall 2017 ready to care for your furry friend. I have no garage so the outdoor space is larger than a typical city yard and there is a deck for sunbathing. I have the gates latched and I can also put a barrier there but they will be supervised if outside just the same. I have no problem with dogs on the sofa but also have many dog beds and blankets and treats (with your permission). My rates reflect the one on one care that your pet will receive when staying in my home. I am open to discuss boarding bonded pets (ie more than one at a time) from the same home on a case by case basis. Looking forward to meeting you and your beloved companion!
