Pet care experience
I’m 27 years old and genuinely an animal lover. I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 8 years old, and for about 10 years, my family served as fosters for an animal rescue at home in Florida. I have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in animal science and have worked with all animals from dogs to livestock. I recently moved to Colorado for work, but due to living and work situations, I haven’t had a dog of my own since leaving home; I’ve enjoyed dog/pet/house sitting to fill that void. In high school, I studied to become a certified veterinary assistant and volunteered at an animal hospital. I’m a heavily active person who looks forward to long walks with your puppy or high-energy dog, but also love a nice long day on the couch with the company of a senior pet. I look forward to getting to know you and your four-legged family members!

Jillian was absolutely great with my dog kylo! Kylo can be kinda picky so I was bit nervous leaving him with someone for the first time but Jillian was fantastic with him. She made sure he was taken care of the whole weekend, provided updates, & was very quick to respond when I messaged to check in. Will definitely be using her in the future and would highly recommend her!
I really appreciated Jillian’s help as I recuperated from knee surgery. She was reliable, punctual, stayed in close communication with me about timing throughout the week, and most importantly, my dog waited at the window for her with excitement every day, and always returned panting, with a big grin on his face! I am sure he appreciated that she varied the walk a little every day, probably more than I usually do! As I began to feel more confident and ready to resume walking him myself, it was reassuring to know she was available and nearby if I got in over my head too quickly and needed a little more time to heal. I will definitely request Jillian again in the future!
Jillian was absolutely great and easy to work with. She was able to work my busy schedule in order to facilitate a proper meet and greet. She was very receptive to Bailey’s needs and wants and I knew I could immediately trust her. When I informed her that I was going to be arriving later in the evening returning home from a trip than anticipated, she was more than happy to stay longer in the day. In fact, I never gave her a specific time to stay until, kind of figuring she would time it so that Bailey would be home for roughly 8 hours by herself- instead she went above and beyond and stayed late on her own accord to ensure Bailey was taken care of almost up until the point I returned home. I will definitely be requesting her to watch Bailey again.
When a sitter comes to your home, reliability is paramount. Jillian is quite reliable; she does not miss a beat. She responds well to Rover communications.

I love all dog breeds and have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I would like to know ahead of time if your dog likes to escape (I had a lab as a kid that loved to climb fences) and whether they are good on a leash, as well as if they have any special care requirements so I can ensure the best care.

As a new Coloradan, I am loving exploring all of the outdoor spaces, and would love to take your dog on walks around the open spaces and trails near you! I also understand that not every dog is up for long walks, so I’m happy to spend the day lounging and relaxing with your senior pet, or playing fetch and doing training work with pups. I’m excited to cater activities to your pet’s needs.
