I have been a “dog person” all my life. Whether it’s a tiny house dog, a mastiff, a herding breed, whatever - I love dogs. In 2001, I started practicing behavioral work and basic obedience training with my own rescue dogs. What an accomplishment I felt when the under-worked cattle dog who started me on that journey was on an agility field with 15 other dogs, and he was only looking at me! I have worked as a veterinary assistant since 2013, and began pet sitting soon after that. I know the importance of punctuality and reliability when it comes to animals, particularly the older ones or those needing regular medications. I am comfortable administering medications to cooperative pets as needed, including injections, and can be available early and late hours.
