Pet care experience
I've always enjoyed helping my parents and our neighbors with taking care of their pets. I currently work full time, so only have weekend availability at the moment. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes, and can walk more than one at a time if they're small. I'm really calm and respectful when meeting new animals - letting them come to me so that we can build trust. I really love giving receptive dogs and cats pats, snuggles, and scratches. Plus, playing with dogs can be loads of fun and a good workout (Frisbee, anyone?).

Jillian watched our two (crazy) pups this weekend for us while we went camping. I was nervous leaving them with someone new because they can be a handful, but Jillian did everything to put me at ease before and during the stay, keeping me updated, very open communication, and sending pics of my babies snuggling on the couch. I’m so glad we decided to book with her, and will absolutely be booking again in the future!
Jillian is a very sweet and dependable pet sitter. Brodie was very happy to see her. She took our dog for a nice walk and sat on the deck with him as that is what he loves to do. I highly recommend Jillian and trust her with our precious dog.
Jillian did a great job with our three dogs. She was responsive, and more than happy to help on short notice. We’ll definitely be contacting her in the future, when we’re headed out of town!

I generally let the animals come to me for pets and snuggles. I give them food when scheduled and fresh water once or twice a day, depending on consumption. Potty breaks will occur at least once every 9 hours max (due to 8 hour work day + commute) - but normally I'd take them out whenever they have the need.

No breed preferences! All dogs are lovable. Seriously though, I don't really pay much attention to breed type except to gauge general energy level... but it is also an individual doggie thing.
A typical day
I'm sure there will be snuggles to be had while we relax indoors together and outside time to be enjoyed (weather permitting). If there are toys around the house, we can play with those together. I happen to be partial to tug-of-war and frisbee.

Availability
I try my best to provide timely, consistent care for all animals. I work from home 3 days a week, which is super helpful for providing potty breaks and pets at more regular intervals. On office days, I will always let the dogs out right before leaving and right when I get back due to the longer duration of absence.
