Patient & Caring Pet Caregiver
Pet care experience
I would love to provide care for your pets! I have provided boarding and drop in care for friends’ and family’s pets for as long as I can remember. When I decided to take a break from being a legal assistant in the summer of 2023, I transitioned to pet care as my full time career. I am truly fortunate that I am able to do what I love. My specialties are geriatric animals, cats, and brachycephalic breeds, but I lovingly provide care to all animals, including reptiles, snakes, fish, rodents, birds (including chickens!), etc.
Reviews
Jillian was fabulous! Yoshi absolutely adored her. She provided plenty of stimulation and engagement for him in addition to taking care of his basic needs. She even had some great ideas that I've continued to use with him after the trip.
Jill was amazing! Our family loved how she shared all the details with photos while we were away. It was our first time feeling this at ease knowing our dog was being looked after so well. I was so nervous to leave him behind because our little dog has his quirks and is anxious around new people. Jill made sure to give him space and time, eventually reaching a point where he doesn't mind her coming over and giving him pats. She also thoroughly followed the instructions and was so thoughtful when we had to add an extra drop-off last minute due to our delayed flight. We are definitely ready to plan our next trip with peace of mind, knowing who to look for when our dog needs a sitter! Thanks again, Jill, for your fantastic job!
Fantastic pet sitter who expertly took care of 3 cats including a diabetic kitty who needed insulin shots. Would recommend her to anyone !
Jilian took care of my 2 year old kitty cat while I was away for 3 days. She kept me up to date and sent lots of pics! She’s also very responsive and I can tell that she cares a lot about the fur babies and her job. I will definitely be booking Jilian again!

I adapt to your pet's unique needs. On walks, I can handle slow sniffaris, quick-paces, and everything in between. With cats, I let them determine how much interaction they receive during a visit. I'm happy to sit quietly so they can get used to me or play together with more outgoing cats. With dogs I am patient yet firm to ensure their safety. I use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, but have the strength to deal with pullers. BOARDING POLICIES: If you're unsure if boarding is the right service, please reach out and we can discuss your needs. A "practice day" of daycare or a single overnight can be arranged to see if your pet is a good candidate for boarding. Boarded dogs must be dog friendly, cat friendly, and crate trained. I cannot board unneutered males (exceptions made for puppies). Geriatric dogs may be charged the puppy fee (evaluated case by case). Dogs may be left for 3-6 hours at a time. If they cannot be left (crated or baby gated) for more than 2 hours at a time, a constant care fee will be added. SITTING POLICIES: All pets in the home must be listed on the booking. There is a discounted rate for cats that have automated feeders and litterboxes. Geriatric pets may be charged the puppy fee (evaluated case by case). Small animals (birds, rodents, lizards, snakes, insects, etc) will be charged a fee based on the amount of care needed. Sitting includes overnight care and 2-3 check ins throughout the day. During the day I typically rotate every few hours between your house and mine, leaving for 3-6 hours. If your pet can't be alone for more than 2 hours, a constant care fee will be added.

Information Jillian H. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know any special needs, rules, quirks, or reactivity triggers your dog has. Does Fido dislike hats? Does Puss prefer scratches over pets?
A typical day
A typical day includes walks, nap time, indoor play time, and an owner-approved treat. For walks, my neighborhood has wide sidewalks and is very close to parks and riverfront paths.
