I graduated with a BS in criminal law now pursuing my BSN. I was lead surgery tech for a veterinarian for 18yrs & an investigator for a private firm. Before I moved here for school I had to put my soul mate (Lexington) down due to cancer. Lex was the love of my life, we did everything together. He pretty much grew up in my vet office because he had aray of health problems. He was one of the office mascots. Being a full time nursing student is not fair to have an animal I would not be able to dedicate all the needed for them, and this opportunity allows me to still enjoy the love, fun and therapy animals give.
