Pet care experience
Most of my pet care experience has come from my own pets, I always had a dog growing up but I put 8 years of experience because I wasn't quite sure when in my life to start counting taking care of my pets as "experience". I had a Sheltie for most of my life, and about a year after she passed away we got a Golden Retriever. I've also had experience with other breeds of medium and large dogs, including Labrador Retrievers, a Mini/Toy American Eskimo, a Border Collie-Labrador Retriever mix, a mutt, and more. I also have had experience taking care of dogs of all ages from puppies to elders, as well as caring for dogs that can be anxious. As far as my style of walking dogs and my energy goes, I can get along fine with just about any sort of dog. If your dog likes to take it slow and go at a leisurely pace I'm fine with that. But if your dog likes to walk at a more brisk pace and is always trying to hurry along so they can sniff the next bush I can do that as well.

Jillian is a patient, gentle person. She was a good match for my energetic mini Australian Shepherd. She kept her commitments the whole time. My dog would get excited just at the mention of her name, and go to the door to wait for her. When a dog does these things, you KNOW that she is a good person to walk dogs !
Jillian was super responsive and was able to do a last minute walk for my pup!
Jillian did an incredible job taking car of our dog. She kept us up to date daily on our dog's progress. We felt very assured that our dog was in good hands. We can confidently recommend Jillian for our dog sitting needs.
Jillian did a good job checking in on our crazy 3-pack. She seems to have a calm personality, which is what our 3 Australian Cattle dogs need. She read my notes that I left and made sure they were fed breakfast and had potty breaks before they went back in their kennels. We plan to use her again in the future.

I'd like to know the energy level of the dog(s), when to give treats, and their favorite activities. I don't have a breed preference so much as a size preference, but that's just because I have more experience with medium and large dogs, rather than small dogs and extra large dogs.
A typical day
I'm down to do whatever your furry friends want to do. Whether it's playing with their favorite toy, playing fetch, horsing around, or just cuddling on the couch. On walks I will try to match your pets pace and energy as best as I can to make sure they get full enjoyment on their walk.

Availability
I work part time and sometimes go to school part time as well so my schedule changes fairly often. But I'm always happy to try to work things into my schedule if they can fit.
