Pet care experience
I grew up with my dog Wiley, and have dog-sat all around my hometown in Massachusetts, so I am able to provide several references. As a recent college graduate, I am currently unemployed, so I am available full-time for any and all of your dog-sitting needs! I'm young and in good physical shape, so I can keep up with puppies and other high-energy dogs. I have experience with care of dogs after a variety of surgeries including neutering and ACL repair. I have plenty of patience for accidents, but I am also not afraid to become stern in order to correct any bad behavior. I understand that every dog owner is different, and I am more than willing to adjust my style of care to the needs of you and your dog!

Jillian is the dog whisperer! One of my dogs is a 16 year old Jack Russell who sometimes has accidents at home, but not when Jillian is there. Jillian is able to get my grouchy old dog outside without any troubles. My other dog, who is younger and a little temperamental warmed up to Jillian instantly. When Jillian cares for them I never come home to any messes.. She makes my worries go away.
Jillian is a trustworthy relible person. She has taken very good care of my sick Yorkie. It has given me the piece of mind that while I working or doing errands, my dog is safe and happy
Jillian is my girlfriend of a year and a half; our running joke is that I love my dog more than her. All jokes aside, I do care about my dog, Grex, like he is my child. Jillian is extremely helpful with caregicing and generous with her love for Grex. She will take him on long walks and feed him while I'm at work. Jillian showers him with endless love, which he really requires as a rescue dog, but she also is stern with him, not allowing him to run the house or misbehave. Jill is really on top of food regiments and only gives treats for good/desired behavior (doing tricks or using the potty outside). Grex is a three-year-old, 80lb Pitbull/Akita mix, so Jill knows how to handle big dogs. Over our relationship we have fostered two puppies/younger dogs; although they were not really potty-trained or would dig through the trash, Jill was extremely understanding but would make sure the pups knew that these actions were bad behavior and would not lead to rewards or cuddles. Additionally, Jill's roommate Emma had an older Shih Tzu, Gracie, who was needy and not warm with many other people. Gracie would become very excited when Jillian came home and would jump onto the couch to be with Jillian. Gracie needed to be encouraged to use the potty outside and had crazy food needs (like a piece of turkey with her dry food while only comfortable eating it in the bathroom alone), yet Gracie complied with everything Jill asked/commanded and Emma was very thankful for Jill's help and her relationship with Gracie. a little extra: if I am hosting a few people over and someone calls Grex over, Grex will make eye contact with me for permission to go over. While I was out of the room once but happened to peek my head in at the right time, I noticed that Grex does the same with Jillian. He doesn't even do that with my roommate whom I've lived with for two and half years. To summarize, after a few hours/visits, dogs gravitate towards Jillian's positive energy, compassion, patience, and respond well to her training/"ownership."And owners should appreciate her organization and adherence to owner desires for his or her pet. Jillian is one of two people I would trust to watch my best friend, Grex, if I were away (at work or vacation). Absolutely a responsible and loving dog caregiver!!
