Pet care experience
I’ve cared for friends & neighbours dogs for several years, whether that’s been dogsitting or simply taking them for walks. Dogs appear to be very relaxed around me and my friends tell me this is because dogs can sense good people! My friend’s chocolate labrador was adopted from a horrible background and is nervous around new people, but she came next to me on the sofa and offered me her tummy to stroke. I am so careful & caring with anyone’s dog, I understand what an important member of the family they are and can assure you they are in safe hands

So caring. Jillian looked after my springer spaniel as if it was her own. He was absolutely spoilt! The love and care Jillian has for dogs is unmatched. I have frequently been asking Jillian to dogsit and she has a key to come and take my dog out for his walk. He absolutely adores her and I know he’s in safe hands. I get regular updates throughout the day and am even told of any unusual things like change of bowel movements, she is always looking out for his wellbeing.

I live by myself with no other pets, no children. I have a coach house with one private staircase as the entrance. I do not have a garden but there is a paved courtyard outside my front door, with nearby greenery and parks. The house is very quiet, clean and cosy. Due to the size of my home and lack of garden, I am only willing to accept small to medium sized dogs.

Please let me know of any known behavioural issues around nervousness, aggression or not being properly toilet trained. I also do not want to be responsible for a dog that needs a lot of support medically or for a dog recovering from an illness/procedure. I am not qualified for this. Please bring any foods and treats your dog consumes and let me know about their feeding schedule (how much & when) or any known allergies. I will not be providing dog food.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and take them on lots of adventures, there are so many great walking routes around. I am happy to cuddle and stroke for as long as they like! Interacting with dogs is great fun, please feel free to bring their favourite toys and food/treats.

Availability
I work mostly from home so am around to care for your dog, my office is also pet friendly but as a responsible carer I would not bring a new dog to a place of work. Therefore they would only be at home with me
