I am a fourth-year veterinary student at the University of Edinburgh and have an in-depth background working with animals. I have run my own pet sitting/walking business for the past three years back home. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter working with cats, dogs, and small mammals for the past 8 years. Working for the shelter I also became involved in fostering kittens and have raised over 100 kittens from my own home. Additionally, at university back home in America, I worked at a canine rescue working with and caring for up to 40 dogs and puppies at a time. I am extremely knowledgeable about both dogs and cats and have years of experience working with all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I understand some dogs can be reactive to others, while others can be extremely welcoming. Every animal has its own personality and behavior style and it's important to understand what makes every animal unique to form a mutual bond with them. Lastly, I have also worked in a veterinary clinic for five years and am very comfortable administrating medicine and am trained in emergency animal CPR and first aid.
