Pet care experience
I have had a pet dog for 20 out of my 23 years. After my first dog passed of old age, we waited a few years to get a new dog. I was 10 when we got our new dog who was not a puppy but was not more than a year old. I was the one who campaigned for a new dog, so a lot of the responsibilities were given to me. Then about 5 years ago we got another dog who was orphaned when her owner passed. I recently moved out of that household, but now I am in my own place with 2 cats of my own. Other than personal pets, friends and family always come to me first to ask for me to watch their pets when they are away for both long times, and day trips.

Jill is my long time friend and has always been a reliable person to watch my cats. I have two cats and even in times of emergency and short notice, Jill is always there to provide the best care to them. There are times when she comes over to hang out and I’ll go to the bathroom and come out to her cleaning their litter box and giving them fresh water. Jill is one of the kindest and most caring people I know and cannot recommend her enough as someone to care for your pets.
My sister has watched my cat on numerous occasions and she is great with him. She always provides love and exercise as well as needs like food and cleaning the litter box. I also witnessed her watch our dogs as we were growing up and she always made it a point to play with them, make sure they had fresh water, feed them, and give them lots of love.

I have experience crating dogs and cats, the later is usually tough but I always make it work. I also am well trained to deal with cats and dogs and to read their different emotions through body language. I am also willing and able to bring your dog to a dog park(with your permission) or use your yard, because I do not have a fenced yard, so they can get their zoomies out.

A typical day
I love doing neighborhood walks with my dog because they are simple but also stimulating for them. If the dog is able to go on car rides i would definitely be able to bring the dog to another off-site location for exercise and fun.

Availability
I currently work as an early morning barista at a coffee shop, which takes up my time from 4 AM to noon. I have 2 to 3 days off a week, and I am definitely available everyday after work, unless there is an extreme personal circumstance.
