Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs from a very early age. I have owned a variety of dogs from a miniature poodle to a Barbet (French water dog) and Irish Water Spaniel. I had u til recently two very large dogs, one of which came from Battersea Dogs Home

Jill cared for our miniature poodle for 10 days and we were so happy to find Axel in an excellent condition and mood! Jill was very accommodating - our flight back got delayed overnight and we had to pick up our dog in the evening instead of at noon, thank you very much, Jill! We look forward to boarding Axel with Jill next time!
Skye had a great time at Jill’s house. She was very well cared for and Jill kept us updated on how Skye settled in her home. Although Skye was pleased to see us when she got home she did stand at the front door as if she wanted to go back to Jill’s as she loved it so much ?Thank you for taking such great care of her ?
Jill was brilliant with Axel. When we picked him our dog was calm and very happy. Couldn't wish for better and look forward to the next stay! Thank you very much, Jill!

Our garden is secure and large with plenty of room to play in. Should your friend need to be bathed (if we walked where there was mud!!!) I am able to do that, and I am very used to grooming dogs if needed. They would become part of my family in every way possible.

A typical day
The activities I would do would very much depend on your friend’s age and ability. If they are capable of long walks, then that’s what we will do, if not then I’ll do what they can do. We have a large garden so play out there is always on the menu. For those that just want to sit and cuddle, great! I love doggy cuddles

Availability
I am retired so have plenty of time to look after your dog. They would have a large garden to play in and there are plenty of walks to be had around my neighbourhood. With our own dogs, we walked them twice a day so if that is what your friend requires, happy to oblige.
