If you hear about my rescue dogs, that might tell you everything you need to know: First we have Zoey. She's 16, a hefty choc. lab mix, and has a bad paw that requires a pill-stuffed-in-cheese twice a day. Sometimes she sneaks around the pill so you really gotta watch her. She still loves going on walks, but very slowly. Next we have Riley, she's 9, and a giant bulldozer (black lab/german shepard). She is the most gentle, albeit clumsy, dog in the world and wouldn't hurt anything, EXCEPT a squirrel. It's not even funny, she has broken fingers darting off on a leash. We've been working on correcting the behavior, but I have to be VERY aware when walking her. Lastly we have my baby, Wiz. The 2 yr old, too-cute-for-his-own-good beagle. He will, literally, eat anything. Having a beagle basically means baby-proofing your house for the rest of your life. And he's pretty bad on a leash. That being said, I can handle a lot of different dogs (also volunteered 3 years ago at spcaLA), but I prefer to not host in my home because of my own circus. I have wonderful help at home and don't mind staying with your dog where they are comfortable, or coming by for a walk. **Disclaimer: I am a full time student with a job, so my availability varies!!**
