Note: I am booking extended stays into 2027. If you are planning a Winter/Spring Get Away I recommend making a reservation . I have been caring for dogs and cats....my own and others for well over 25 years. I am able to spend quality time with your pet, giving them the attention, exercise and companionship they need while you are away. I have volunteered at a Rottweiler rescue, fostering and getting dogs ready for adoption since 2009. Dogs (of all breeds and sizes) and cats have been a part of my life since childhood. In addition, I have experience with chickens, turkeys, rabbits, horses, goats, lizards and aquariums. I can administer medications as well as give shots. I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. I am available for extended pet/house sitting and can provide specific references for this service. I prefer to have a 'meet & greet" or two when caring for a new pet so that we have a bit of time to get acquainted. I also prefer to know about any triggers from past trauma, any fears of men, thunder, loud noises, etc. I’d like to know how they get along with other dogs or cats, do they pull on leash for walks and how they behave in a car if transport is necessary, and the 'vocabulary ' they are familiar with such as wait, down, sit, etc.

Your dogs could not be in better hands than will Jill. We were over the moon elated with every single thing about Jill. A wealty of experience, a sincere and deep affection for animals, and a desire to be sure that Lucy and Skeeter felt comfortable with her before she began the 5 day care. So much so, that she visited twice to get acquainted prior. (with treats in her pocket.) Lucy is 14, and needs meds for arthritis twice a day, and Jill was completely on top of it. We have never not worried before when leaving our dogs, and we did not worry at all. Jill texted us morning and night reports, as well as photos. And.....not only was Jill a dedicated l, responsible and experienced dog sitter ( she might sit for cats...we only have dogs) but she is a super nice, lovely person.

Jill has been great with our two pups, taking the time to get to know them and their quirks, and to go over their schedules and care details. Jill is punctual, responsive, and most importantly incredibly patient and kind. Thank you, Jill!
