The Mutt House - In-Home Boarding
Pet care experience
Dog boarding at The Mutt House in Mundelein! We just celebrated our TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY here at The Mutt House ! It has been a wonderful adventure and I continue to enjoy meeting new families and their furry family members. This is my passion and my focus- this is not just a side job to me- I take it very seriously and your dogs safety and comfort is my priority. They become part of the family while staying with us. The Mutt House is the perfect vacation destination for the (ALREADY) WELL-SOCIALIZED dog while you are enjoying your vacation with peace of mind. ( See note on which breeds I can not accept).. ( Please include PICTURE OF YOUR PUP with request) —————————— Your dog will enjoy a safe, large fenced in yard and plenty of room to roam around our smoke-free home. They are also welcome to lounge on the couch or wherever they are comfortable. We also take a lot of potty breaks and enjoy the outdoors when weather allows. I will send daily pictures and updates directly to your phone, so that you will have peace of mind while away! A few other things to note: 1) Dogs must be spayed/neutered to stay here. 2) Re: DOGS I CAN NOT BOARD: - I can not board dogs with anxiety issues or dogs that are not already socialized with other dogs. - I can not board Huskies, Pits or Pit Mixes, Guarding Breeds, Extreme High Energy Breeds (Australian Shepherd, Boarder Collie) 3) **Please no late drop offs. It takes a while for the dogs to adjust to each other and most settle down for the night by 8:00...so ideally before 5pm is appreciated...We can discuss at our meet and greet. 4) If you live within 10 miles of Mundelein, I am happy to pick up and drop off your dog for you. (Fee depends on distance ) I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for your consideration. *********************************************** About my yard: Spacious fenced-in yard (see pictures). The fence is 6” tall and is routinely examined for safety. My experience administering medication: I am able to administer oral medications and injections.
Reviews
We went on vacation and this is the first time our dog has ever been away from home. We were so nervous, but Jill is absolutely AMAZING! We loved the daily updates and photos, and we can tell that he had a great time! He loved playing with the other dogs and he loves Jill. Her home is now his "home away from home". Highly recommend! Five stars all the way!
Jill cared for Molly during our first vacation away from her. She was very patient and understanding of the adjustment it was for Molly. She provided a safe and loving environment with other gentle dogs to distract and entertain her. Jill was wonderful and kept in contact with us and provided pictures daily -which we SO enjoyed! I could tell from our first meeting that Jill was a kind and caring dog owner and that those traits would carry over to her time with Molly. So grateful for her!
Thelma and Louie had another great stay with Jill and her family! Such a great feeling to be away and know your pets are being well cared for! Appreciate the daily photos!
Thank yiu again for watching our pups! I believe they had a great time! We love getting the updates and pictures everyday!
