Pet care experience
Hello, I would love to care for your doggie(s) in my home, 3 miles West of Grand Forks, ND (South of the airport). Our 4000+ sq foot home features a large 3 acre yard and fenced in area for dogs. There is an elevated Gazebo attached to the house that has a doggie door to the outside so your pet can come in and out as they please. Photo of my backyard is in my profile. My own dogs will be home too—13 yr old neutered male Dachshund, 2 yr old intact female German Shorthair Pointer, and 12 month old female Olde English Bulldog. There is plenty of space to separate pets if need be. I can crate dogs if needed. I also have a play yard for smaller dogs. I am married with three boys (19, 14, and 4) and they would love to play with your dog as well. My husband and I both work full-time in law enforcement but someone will always be home as we work opposite shifts. I will stay in contact and send photos if you’d like. ***For the safety of my children and my own dogs, I require your dog(s) to be current on vaccinations. DHLPP (yearly) Bordetella aka kennel cough (yearly) Rabies (1 yr or 3 yr depending on vaccine) ********************************************************* We look forward to caring for your 4 legged companion.

Jill is the best! She takes care of other people's pets as if they were her own. She gives updates and sends photos so you dont have to worry about your fur baby when you're away. Oliver was in great spirits when I picked him from a weekend at Jill's! This is in contrast to his high stress and anxious behaviors he has demonstrated when I've boarded him at a typical facility. My puppies and I are so grateful to have found Jill on Rover! Highly recommend!!
I wish I could give Jill and her family even more than 5 stars!! My little bichon, Daisy, is almost 17 years old and requires quite a bit of care given her mobility, cognitive, and sensory impairments. I almost cancelled a trip I had planned because I did not know anyone who I trusted that was available to take care of Daisy... until I met Jill on Rover. She made me feel comfortable and at ease from our first interaction. Jill did not seem to mind at all that Daisy required a little extra TLC. While I was on my trip, Jill sent me photos and updates which helped me to enjoy my trip even more because I knew that Daisy was in great hands! When Daisy got dirty, Jill gave her baths and washed her jammies and dog bed. Jill and her family gave Daisy so much love and snuggles while she was in their care. I am beyond appreciative of the wonderful care Daisy received during her week with Jill!
Jill and her family were great with all three of my dogs! We dropped them off one afternoon to attend a wedding and we had to be out well into the evening. It was my first time leaving my dogs with a sitter so I was a bit nervous. Jill quickly eased my anxiety by sending me adorable pictures and updates about how they were all doing. She made sure all of them had enough potty breaks and food. Jill even went as far as to wash the reusable potty pad we brought for our puppy. I would happily recommend Jill to anyone looking for a great dog sitter.
Jill and her family were amazing! Crazy circumstances that caused us to look for last minute care in Grand Forks, North Dakota. We were supposed to meet our fur babies but got delayed at home so she was available and had just the right food for them. The family had a wide open gated yard so the pups could run to their hearts content. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone with a dog. Again she and her family were amazing. Jill also sent photos and texts to keep us informed about how they were doing. 5 STARS!!!!

We have a large house that is fully accessible to all dogs whether my own or yours. They are allowed on furniture (against my husbands wishes) but I want to make them as comfortable as possible which usually includes them in my bed at night. We have a fenced in area just for dogs to run but they are kept indoors unless they want to go out. Please be honest about your pet being housebroken. It’s ok if they are not, I would just rather know ahead of time to be prepared for potential accidents. We take good care of our home and prevent pet stains, and excess pet hair as much as we can.

Any feeding habits or concerns to note or favorite toys or tricks they enjoy. I cannot take in dogs that show signs of aggression towards other pets or children. I reserve the right to cancel the boarding and request pickup if your dog is not working out well. To date, I have never had to cancel or have a dog picked up before the scheduled pickup time.

We love to explore the neighborhood. Living out in the country brings on lots of new smells and things to check out. There are a few paths we like to walk that are on quiet local traffic only roads. We have an abundance of toys, treats, dog beds, etc to make them happy. Please bring a collar or harness and a leash if you allow them to leave the confinement of my fenced yard.

My three dogs are my family! They get spoiled all day long with cuddles, play time, treats, toys, and special outings. Adding your pet to the mix is no trouble at all. My dogs are used to other dogs coming over to play. Some breeds mix better than others but I will always find a way to provide love and attention to your dogs even if I have to separate them.
