I have a lifetime experience not only living with my own cats and dogs but caring for those in families I nanny for as well. I default to training as a regular communication technique with all dogs, but am always friendly and patient. I have my own lab at home, we rescued her and she is under a year old. She is playful and loves everyone and every dog, could easily tire another pup out. I only work one morning a week and both my husband and I are home every night. Everyone we know, love and spend time with adores dogs, and yours would be no different. Anyone coming into contact with them would treat your dog like a marvel. We are protective and active and constantly on the lookout for what a dog may need and benefit from. We also live on a lake so if your dog enjoys water activities (in the shallow end) we are the home for you.
