Trustworthy and loving care!

Pet care experience

Huge animal lover with lots of experience! I love spoiling dogs and am told often that people would switch places with mine or come back as one of my dogs. I have experience with all kinds and can tailor care to your dog’s needs. I grew up with an allergen ridden dog and understand dietary restrictions very well, as my current dogs also have sensitive stomachs. During the pandemic, I regularly fostered Scaredy Dogs with a local rescue that need some gentle love and in the past have fostered many medical needs dogs from Austin Pets Alive! Due to my new work schedule, unfortunately I can’t take on a foster dog anymore. I currently work from home 2x a week and hang out with your dog all day on those days. I am at the office 3x a week so we can work around it depending on your days. My two dogs are here, but my partner is here as well and will wrangle them so I can focus on your dog. My dogs can be extremely sassy at first, but will calm down and just sleep all day/ignore your dog. We will never leave them as a group unsupervised. My dogs get wet food and homemade vegetable blend plus pumpkin in the mornings, and I brush their teeth nightly. I can also follow a strict regimen for your dogs or cats. My dogs have both been to private trainers for reactivity and shyness, so I understand body language, bodily autonomy for dogs, and giving them space if needed.

Jill and her husband are such great sitters! I always know Cornbread will be in great hands when I leave him with them. I get lots of photos, they have lots of cozy places for dogs to hang, and seem to really love my pup. Her little chihuahuas get along so well with mine, too!

My little dog, Cornbread, is sometimes a hard nut to crack but Jill, her partner, and her pups got along great with him! Jill sent a whole bunch of photos, easing my mind and keeping me updated with cuteness. It seemed like they all bonded by the end & that makes me so happy! Will 100% book again when I next need a sitter.

Jill was fantastic. Our dog Panini stayed with Jill for 10 days, which is probably the longested I've left him. She has create communication, lots of pics and updates, and even dealing with an upset stomach. Jill also gave Panini his twice daily meds no problem. Will book again!

Jill was so thoughtful and sweet in caring for our dog, Olive, again. She left us detailed notes and took lots of great photos. Olive loves her!!

A typical day

I wake up at 4:45am to get ready for the gym, but will make sure dogs get at least a pee in (and breakfast if they demand it) before I walk and feed them when I come back at 6:45am. During the day, I can let them out to use the restroom of take them for a quick walk, and in between meetings, can play with the dog. If treat motivated, can bring dog puzzles. During walks, if a dog is reactive or scared, I have treats ready for exercises against reactivity and shyness. I snuggle with my dogs nightly, so am happy to share a bed with them. I can give them a 2 longer walks and 1-2 additional quick walks per day, as well as backyard bathroom breaks.
