From having family dogs as far back as I can remember, I had my first dog when I set up home 50 years ago. From then I went into dog training, dog breeding and then dog showing. Our home was never short of at least one dog over the years. When my husband was made redundant, we decided to set up a dog grooming business ( as he had been fully trained many years previously). This proved to be very successful and gave us many years of wonderful dog memories and many close relationships with our regular clients. Sadly over the years we have said goodbye to our own beloved pets but still get called upon by our various children to look after their pets whilst they are away. We made the decision not to have any more dogs ourselves but really miss their company, so we decided that pet sitting might suit us as we are still fit and healthy and have a wealth of canine knowledge in many different breeds.
