Professional Dog Walker & Trainer

Pet care experience

I began my career in the dog industry in 2012 after leaving the corporate world after 10+ years. I decided to follow my passion of caring for and learning about dogs. I started a dog walking and pet sitting service in my community which grew rapidly allowing me to open the first brick and mortar dog service business in my neighborhood. I owned and operated a structured daycare, boarding and grooming facility for 7 years. Shortly after opening my facility, my desire to learn as much as possible about dog behavior through my own dogs and thru clients' dogs. It became the focus of all my spare time. Gaining additional knowledge brought me in the direction of dog behavior modification and balanced training. Over the last 10 years, I have attended multiple seminars and workshops and also interned and shadowed in other balanced training facilities throughout New England. I specializes in dog socialization and understanding dog and human relationships. I also recently earned my Canine Good Citizenship evaluator with the American Kennel Club. Jill grew up and currently resides in Revere with her three German Shorthaird Pointers, Anabel,Buster and Sanjay. Along with her guinea pig, Benjamin who loves interacting and hanging out with her dogs. For fun, Jill loves hiking her dogs in Lynn Woods Reservation and swimming the pups in the Pines River. She also enjoys participating in noswwork sent trails w her dog Anabel. When not with her animal family, JIll’s favorite thing to do is check out new fun culinary experiences.

I've known Jill for 2 years now and how she interacts and handles every kind of dog is with care and respect. She's knowledgeable in how to set the dogs up for success whether it's a solo walk or a group walk. My dog's love her! (And one of them doesn't usually like people.)

I have known Jill for nearly two decades now. Our first dogs were puppies at the same time! You can’t ask for a a better person to care for your dogs. She is knowledgeable, responsive & caring. Having previously owned her own doggy daycare, she has years of experience with many different breeds and temperaments. Your dog is in the best hands under Jill’s care.

Jill was an absolute lifesaver when I adopted my very timid rescue pup. Yoda was scared of everyone and everything, I just didn’t know what to do about it. My work hours were long so I had to start him on daycare and walks but I was worried he’d have a nervous breakdown. Boy was I wrong- I was convinced Jill was mistaking Yoda for another dog when she told me how fun and playful he was. I couldn’t believe my eyes when she sent video of Yoda having the time of his life and ruling the roost on his insanely fast run through the yard! Jill was AMAZING with Yoda, he was immediately comfortable with she and her pack which allowed him to be himself. Jill gave me tips on how to help him come out of his shell at home and all of her suggestions were spot on. He even developed a crush on Anabel and to this day (10 years later) he loses his mind when we see a German pointer ❤️ We’ve since moved away and have had many sitters and walkers- many of which Yoda has refused to walk with. Jill has a very special way with these animals, we’re so grateful we found her and you will be too!
