I've taken care of dogs of all kinds my whole life. I include the past 10 years due to my active role in dog ownership and caring starting at 14. I have fed, walked, and watered neighbors' and friends' dogs for many years as well as full-time care for my own dog over the past 3 years. 1. Spent quality time with friends' and family members' dogs, offering them companionship and playtime. 2. Assisted neighbors or acquaintances with dog walking or pet sitting when needed. 3. Learned about different dog breeds and their general care requirements. 4. Developed basic handling skills, such as leash walking and giving treats. 5. Gained an understanding of common dog behaviors and communication cues. 6. Engaged in casual training sessions, teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and come. 7. Provided affection and love to the dogs I've encountered, fostering a bond with these furry companions. 8. Assisted with feeding and basic grooming, like brushing and bathing, when necessary. 9. Participated in local dog-related events and community activities. 10. Experienced the joy and fulfillment that comes from interacting with dogs, enriching my life with their presence. Though it may have been a casual experience, my time spent with dogs over the past decade has left a positive impact, and I continue to cherish every opportunity to connect with these wonderful creatures.
