Pet care experience
If you are looking for a temporary family for your fluffy friends to call home while you are out of town, you've found the right place! My husband and I love dogs and I'm working fully remotely, which means I have all the days to spend with our fluffy companions! Before Rover, we have a lot of experience from taking care of dogs for my friends and neighbors. We are also volunteering as foster parents for a local cat shelter. We have a 2-year-old dog Andy (labrador+ Australian cattle mix) and we all love visitors! Andy is a playful but also gentle giant. He is super sweet and friendly and happy to share his toys and treats with your pup. We haven't met a creature he didn't get along with! From a hamster to a foster cat to an 8 week puppy to a 10-year-old senior, Andy adjusts his energy level and gets along with everyone. We enjoy having a walk, a game, or some treats together with our fluffy guests. Cute photos/videos will be sent. We value good communications and we take notes for each dog we are about to board. Meet and greets are welcome/recommended for boardings. Let us know about the specific dos and don'ts for your dog so we can best accommodate! We are pet parents too and we board our dogs too when we need to travel. So we understand how you might feel and will try our best to make your pup feel at home.😊

I had a great experience leaving Phoebe with Jie! She was so great about keeping me updated and sending me plenty of photos. Dogs usually stay in the yard and living room in the day. At night, they either sleep on the couch or follow us and sleep by our bed, their choice.😊 Dogs are allowed on furniture.

A typical day
We usually play fetch and tug of war. Our dog Andy is the experienced super host. He adjusts his energy level when playing with the guests. He'd love to wrestle and tug if our fluffy guest wants to. Andy can also leave the scared pups alone so it's less stressful for them in a new environment.

Availability
We welcome the visiting pets and treat them as our own. I am working fully remotely so I can take boardings every day. We won't have more than 3 dogs at one day except they are from the same family. This way every pet will get attention they deserve. We usually have walks in mornings, evenings, and before bedtime. Our guests have play time throughout the day. The activity can be fetch, tug, a wrestle with Andy, or a long/sniffing walk. Most of the times they roam around or take their naps while I work at my computer. Also let us know if you have a specific schedule for your pup and we can try to accommodate.
