Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner (cats & dogs) since childhood. Animals have a big place in my heart and I absolutely love caring for them and providing them a loving and safe environment. I recently lost a senior kitty who needed a lot of medical care towards the end, which I embraced and learned a lot from. I have also taken our Rottweiler through multiple training programs and we continue to do active, regular training with him. I am a very dedicated pet parent and happy to provide whatever level of attention your fur-baby needs.

Having Jiahna care for Gideon has been a real pleasure. She was very helpful and flexible as we did a meet and greet and evaluated if Gideon would be a good fit. She took time to ask really good questions about Gideon and learn all she could so it's the better care for Gideon. From the get-go, Gideon loved being at her house and sharing time with her puppy. It was a good fit. I always knew that Jiahna had Gideon's best in mind, and I always got good reports at the end of the day. So very glad that I got to meet and have Gideon stay with Jiahna. I highly recommend her as a safe and professional Rover person for your canine needs. Gideon will miss her for sure and I have really appreciated the care and great connection that she showed in caring for Gideon. 💜🐕

I have a fully fenced yard with an extra-tall fence. I also have a full camera & security system throughout the home, with 24-hour monitoring. Your pet will be loved, snuggled (when appropriate/at their comfort level), and cared for in the manner you wish. I am happy to provide medications as-needed, I am open to any food program you are on and have fridge/freezer space as-needed.

I have a 1yo Rottweiler male at home. He is very friendly, trained, and welcoming. He is not fixed (too young), so at this time I am not accepting any non-spayed females. He has been around other non-neutered males and seems to do just fine, so I have no issues there.
A typical day
I love taking our dog for walks and will often walk to local parks, spend time training and playing. I also enjoy going on adventures, playing in the yard, the doggy pool (when appropriate/weather permitting) and spending time with them.

Availability
I work a four 10's schedule. I am home all day Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and work 7:30-5pm Mon-Thurs. If your pet is crate trained and can hold potties for approx 8 hours, I am happy to take them throughout the week as well, but they would be kenneled for part of the day Monday-Thursdays.
