Vet Clinic Exp. + Fenced Yard!

Pet care experience

Dogs have always been a part of my life! I’ve had experience with just about every breed from small Pomeranians to huge Great Danes as well. I have a very social German Shepherd who is four and a half years old and loves to show our house around to all the dogs that come and stay with us. If your pet needs medication, a bath or any other special accommodations it will not be a problem as I have experience working in an animal clinic. If you have preferences for your pet such as not allowing them to get up on furniture or vice versa, I will make sure to accommodate those. I can also accommodate specific allergies since I believe every dog deserves a treat, no matter what the dietary restriction is! I do have cats in the house but they have literally seen dozens and dozens of dogs pass through so they are very used to canines! This is my only job so anything I do is scheduled around the dogs. I may be gone for an hour or two to run errands but I prioritize the care of the dogs when they are in my hands! My backyard is completely fenced-in and doggos are able to run at full speed! I provide crates but you are more than welcome to bring your own if your dog requires one (EX: at night or when left alone).

Jay was absolutely the best! She sent pics daily and was accommodating to our travel schedule since we had some delays! Highly recommend her and we will continue to use her!

Ji was awesome! Townsie was very calm and comfortable when we dropped him off which was great because he can usually he more anxious when we leave him. Ji was very thorough, communicative and so flexible and accommodating to our schedule. Townsie seemed to have a great time and was happy when we picked him up. We’d definitely have Ji watch him again!

We have used the doggie daycare service once a week for our border collies for some time now. I work from home so I look forward to it and so do they! All we have to do is mention Ji and Kaia’s name and they are ready to go! Extra bonus is they come home exhausted! Recently we left them for a week with Ji while we were out of town. We had been struggling with our puppy to get him kennel trained at night. Ji was able to get him kennel trained for us and he has slept in his kennel every night without issue since!!! Our puppy also suffers from chronic UTIs. Ji suspected he had one while we were out of town. She contacted us and took him to the vet. She communicated about the vet visit with us and followed up with his care until we got home. Our vet even told us what an amazing dog sitter we had! I don’t even want to think how sick he would of been at a kennel without the prompt care by Ji. Instead he was already on the mend by the time we got home! We feel blessed to have found Ji and know that our dogs are well cared for while we get some much needed rest and relaxation.

Jay Ji was amazing. My fur baby has a very sensitive digestion and eats prescription food. I was relieved when she told me that she watches the dogs for under her care when they are eating to make sure they eat their own food and not each other’s. Jay sent me regular updates and pictures of my pup. I am happy and will not hesitate to use her services again.

Every animal that enters my care is treated like mine. I make no distinction between the two and love each and everyone of them! I follow the owner’s instructions very closely - diet restrictions, medication etc. and when I am at a client’s house, I respect it as my own. If anything, I try to leave it cleaner than I found it! Please know that when I board dogs in my home, there will more than likely be multiple dogs, especially during peak seasons such as breaks and holidays. I do not accept aggressive/badly-behaved dogs as I want to provide the most safe and comfortable place for your dog to stay. The extensive question list that I ask in the beginning as well as a meet and greet are ways that I filter out such dogs. An animal that poses a risk to my cats and dog would not be one that I put with anyone else’s pets!

I ask all my clients some questions before our meet and greet: 1. How does your dog get along with other dogs? What about cats? 2. Is your dog house-broken/potty trained? How often do you let your dog out? 3. Is your dog up-to-date on shots? (You can just take a picture and send to verify ?) 4. Does your dog have any destructive behaviors such as marking or chewing? 5. Does your dog like to escape if given the opportunity? 6. Is your dog food aggressive? 7. Where does your dog sleep at night and do you crate your dog when you are not home? 8. Does your dog have food allergies? 9. What is the feeding schedule like for your dog? Allowed to graze or on a feeding schedule? 10. Is your dog allowed on furniture? 11. Does your dog bark when the doorbell rings or hears a knock? 12. Does your dog like to take food from the counters or tables? 13. Does your dog like to consume fabric or toys like socks or stuffing?

A typical day

One of my favorites things to do with the dogs that come through my home is to find out what their favorite games are! Some love tug-o-war which is Kaia’s favorite game while others love fetch! Some love our Kong toys while others love to tackle the dog puzzles that I have of all levels.

My day starts with pet care and ends with it as I have my own dog and three cats that I already take care of! When I have other dogs over, they have the same schedule as my pets: they are the first ones to eat before I take my first bite and are number one on my priority list!
